Rough Start for Tiger at the Hero Challenge

Hero World Challenge - Previews

Tiger Woods got off to a rough start in the first round of the Hero World Challenge. With a finish of +5 he is now in last place. Of course we won’t count him out just yet. But that is an 11 shots of the lead help by Jordan Spieth. Jordan is hot off his win in Australia. The young Spieth feel not jet lag and right now is leading the pack at six under par. Tiger hit his opening tee shot out of bounds.  As we all know if you have not played in a while or are coming back from an injury those first few rounds allow you to shake the rust off. As we move into round two we should see Tiger’s score improve. Right now it will be rough for him to catch Jordan if he continues on the run he is on right now. Tiger also had a few bad chip shots and at the moment is not looking at all like a world class player. We all know that once things come together in the coming year we will more than likely witness the Tiger we have known in the distant past. Chris Como has him working on the swing of his youth only time will tell if Tiger can regain his youthful swing and prowess. Our best to Tiger and his new coach Chris Como.
